Privacy Policy

This notice describes the current Outlaw Marketplace service. It covers your account and use of this website, not the independent marketplaces or sellers linked from results.

Guest searches

Guest searches use an essential browser cookie and a hashed network address to limit the free allowance to one search per day per browser or network. Shared networks may share this allowance. We store guest search criteria, ZIP-derived location, results and usage records to perform the search, retrieve results and prevent abuse. Guest searches are not publicly shared as search suggestions. Public listing data may still be reused. Guest access does not create a paid account or authorize charges.

Information we handle

We store your username, password hash, recovery-key hash, sign-in sessions, saved alerts, search requests and history, usage counts, sharing choices, and any location or Discord webhook you save. Passwords and recovery keys are hashed; a Discord webhook must remain usable by the server and is stored as a private credential. Hosting and security services may process IP addresses, request details and technical logs. We do not currently collect payment-card information.

Why we use it

We use this information to authenticate accounts, run and display one-time and explicitly enabled scheduled searches, remember your preferences, enforce usage allowances, protect the service, and provide notification settings. Essential session cookies keep you signed in; a sidebar cookie remembers navigation preferences. The current application does not include advertising trackers or third-party marketing analytics.

Locations and search providers

ZIP lookups are sent to Zippopotam.us, which attributes location data to GeoNames. Street-address lookups are sent to the U.S. Census geocoder. Confirmed locations and lookup results are stored so that we can estimate distances and avoid repeat lookups. Location lookup results are cached for 30 days. Removing your saved location does not automatically erase locations captured in earlier search history or saved alerts.

The collection process receives your search keywords and a coarse city region, rather than your saved street address. The marketplace being searched receives the search request and normal connection information. Cloudflare provides hosting and database services; a dedicated collection computer processes search jobs. Authorized operators can access information needed to operate and support the service.

Sharing and external content

Searches are private by default. If you enable nearby sharing, other nearby users may see your keywords, broad area, search preferences and check time. Do not put personal or sensitive information into shared keywords. Making a search private stops its future appearance in our shared-search feature but cannot recall information already viewed or copied.

Public listing captures may be reused in the site's inventory or to answer equivalent searches. Your account identity and saved origin are not attached to those public listing records. Listing photos may load from external hosts, which receive normal image-request information. Opening an original listing takes you to that provider's service and privacy practices.

If you request a Discord webhook test, Discord receives that message. Anyone with access to the destination channel may see it. If you explicitly enable automatic delivery, new matching listings from your enabled alerts are sent to your Discord channel. You can pause delivery; a message already in progress may still arrive. Delivery status and error records are stored to avoid duplicate messages. You may remove the saved webhook through the delivery settings in Alerts / feed. We do not currently sell account data or use it for targeted advertising.

Users in other locations

The service operates from the United States and information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information, or object to or restrict certain uses. Contact support@outlawmarketplace.com to make a request or raise a concern. We may verify identity and will respond as required by applicable law. Mandatory consumer and privacy rights are not waived by using this service.

Retention and your controls

Account records, search history, alerts and usage records remain stored while needed for the current service; automatic deletion schedules are not yet implemented for all records. Session expiry limits sign-in access, but does not mean every related record is immediately erased. You can edit or remove saved alerts, save or dismiss listings, delete your account using password confirmation, remove a webhook or location, change sharing choices, change your password, and revoke sessions in the available account controls. Broader access, correction and deletion requests will require identity verification by emailing support@outlawmarketplace.com. Backups and records required for security or legal obligations may remain for a limited operational period.

No storage or transmission method is completely secure. This service is intended for adults. Do not submit a child's personal information. Material changes to these practices will be reflected in an updated notice before the changed practices take effect.

Terms of use

Outlaw Marketplace is a tool for discovering third-party secondhand listings. It is not the seller, auctioneer, payment processor, broker or guarantor of items shown. Buying, payment, delivery, returns and disputes occur with the seller or source platform under their terms. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by a listed marketplace unless expressly stated.

Accounts and permitted use

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract to create an account. Keep your credentials and recovery key secure and use accurate information. Accounts do not grant permission to access another person's private data, bypass access restrictions, evade usage limits, overload the service, commit fraud, or search for unlawful transactions. Administrator access is restricted to authorized operators; public registration never creates an administrator.

Search coverage and listing information

Searches reflect information accessible from a source when checked. Sources may block access, limit regions, omit listings, delay updates or change their services. A nationwide preference does not establish nationwide source coverage. Search order, results and notifications are not a promise of completeness, immediate discovery, availability, authenticity or a profitable purchase. A stored result is not necessarily a new live check. Posting times, first-seen times and check times mean different things.

Estimates and buying decisions

Prices and condition descriptions come from the source and may be incomplete, inaccurate or outdated. Calculated costs and distances are estimates, not quotes or appraisals. Unspecified taxes, shipping, travel, buyer premiums, repairs and fees can change your actual cost. No resale value, savings or profit is guaranteed. Availability and responsibility

The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. We do not promise uninterrupted collection or delivery. You remain responsible for your purchasing and resale decisions. Nothing in these terms excludes rights, remedies or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or represents that estimate labels eliminate legal responsibility.

Access may be restricted for security, abuse or legal reasons. Material changes to these terms will be identified before they take effect; changes to paid terms will require appropriate notice and any consent required by law. Seller content and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. Rights or content complaints should be sent to support@outlawmarketplace.com.

Membership & usage policy

Current access is free. Checkout, paid subscriptions and auto-renewal are not enabled. Discord listing notifications require explicit opt-in. Creating an account does not authorize a future charge and does not start a paid trial.

Guests may run one search daily per browser/network, with reset at midnight UTC. Eligible shared results may satisfy that search; a successful search with zero matches still uses the allowance. Failed collection jobs release the guest reservation. An account is required for saved alerts and additional account allowances.

The current Scout allowance is five saved alerts and ten one-time searches per day, resetting at midnight UTC. New one-time source jobs reserve one search. Explicitly enabled scheduled searches use the saved interval and do not consume the current manual-search allowance. Failed, blocked or expired jobs restore that reservation. Browsing stored listings and eligible reuse of recent results do not use another search. A successful check that returns no matches still uses a search. Equivalent simultaneous requests may share one source job.

Displayed future plans and refresh intervals are proposals, not purchased entitlements or guaranteed discovery speeds. Before paid membership opens, checkout must clearly disclose the price, taxes, billing frequency, included usage, overage policy, renewal terms, cancellation method, access after cancellation, and refund policy. Recurring charges require explicit agreement. No cancellation or refund terms for a paid product are in force yet, because no such product is currently sold.

We will publish the finalized membership terms and working account cancellation controls before accepting subscription payments. No fee should be inferred from a proposed plan or usage display.
